Update dec 2012:
This issue also exists in Black Ops 2 but it’s a bit more subtle/rare – the fix is the same though!
I used to have some problem
with the mouse sensitivity in MW3 skyrocketing and then being normal and then skyrocket again and so on.
I read on various forums that turning off FRAPS would help, only problem is I dont use FRAPS or have any software like that running. Also read that lowering the pulling rate on my gaming mouse would help – I did not care for this since its one of the reasons I bought it. However that did help around under 250 Hz. Also read tips about lowering process priority and so on, nothing really helped.
So what did help? Well I think one of the reasons this bug is so hard to pinpoint has to with the fact the game is running under a high priority and needs to be doing this to work well in mp.
The solution lies in killing all oher non essential processes. In my case Dropbox is usually the “culprit” (not really though, it’s MW3 that is shitty but you get my drift).
So if you are having this issue, try killing off non essential processes one by one w/ the task manager until game is normal. Re-installing Windows will do nothing. Trust me.
Oliver splashed water everywhere on the baby swimming lessons today w/ me. He laughed and it was awesome. Bought some sub-par candy on the way home which brings shame to the Tyrkisk Peber brand. Took a nice evening walk. It’s rapidly drying up outside and spring is in the air!
Took tomorrow off work to clean the house a bit and chill out with Oliver & Linda.
Can you please be a little quiet putting that thing together? I’m trying to watch TV :)
Some stuff was for sure better back in the days. More gravel on icy roads for one. Wtf Sundsvall? Pain in the ass to walk on slick ice pushing Oliver.
Oliver had hardly slept at all today. Also cleaned a bit and made dinner. Man I need another weekend after this weekend. Hopefully he will go to sleep at 6.30-7pm as usual and sleep tight. Havent had a chance to play MW3 at all this weekend, need me some fraggin.
Oliver turned 7 months yesterday. Time flies.. He is now sitting, exploring and wanting to exercise walking all the time.
Tonight I took care of him. Linda was at a birthday dinner. He woke up abruptly crying around 10 pm, a very rare event. I had to pick him up and hold him and soothe him.
I can’t imagine a fear greater than not being there to comfort my son. They truly are your heart tumbling about outside of your body.
