We had to check out of the hotel at 11, the transfer bus was going to leave at 13:50 so we waited in the lobby. Oliver missed his midday sleep but he was in a pretty good mood until we came to the security checks at the airport. In hindsight it might have been worth to pay the extra 25 eur for a late checkout and let him sleep.. still we were hoping that him being exhausted would mean that he would sleep some more on the plane.…

He wants todo more and more things by himself now. He wants to sit, eat and walk by himself more and more. Yesterday he walked all the way from the store back to our appartment, holding one hand on the stroller – wanting to help his mol push it forward.

He is frequently playing that he is eating when he has a spoon, something he started a few weeks before we left.…

He loves ice cream and when I finally gave him one to hold by himself he shined with excitement and walked around making proud “mmmm”-noises. He cried furiously when I took his precious wooden stick away from him (the ice cream melted off at the end and he cant walk around with a wooden stick in his mouth)…
