New room

Olivers new room upstairs is finally pretty much done. The “pocket” door-frame (which makes the door disappear into the wall and saves space) made the installation of the wall more cumbersome than expected, the frame was not exactly straight either which led to some problems.. but in the end I think we managed pretty well. We also had to order the door not once but twice since the first one was damaged in transit.

The door that we ended up installing is a so called “massive” door, ie a door made of a single sheet of wood.…

New room for Oliver

During the weekend we have begun the work to create a new room for Oliver upstairs. To save space we are using a door that will slide into the wall into a “pocket frame” (pocket karm).

My dad helps (or more like I help him) to build the wall and so on and Lindas dad, being a certified electrician, put in all the outlets.

Oliver is sick again and is running a fever during the nights and he has got an awful cough that we might have to get checked up (again).…
