  The 4400 resembles X-files in the way that they don't rely on special effects a ton like som other recent Sci-Fi/Suspense shows (Surface, etc) and it's a good thing, makes your imagination wander. And it will probably help keep this kick ass show alive (no sfx = cheap show to produce)
