Isn’t she adorable? She had just woken up and the light was so nice from the broken sky outside, I was quick with the iPhone. She looks older than a month, especially with all that hair :)

I’ve had problems with my plantar fasciitis (heel) off and on, lately it has been more annoying than usual. I’ve bought orthopedic stuff, walked indoors in slippers and so on.. nothing seems to help much.

For some, laying off the heel seems to work (RICE) – and it has to some extent for me as well.. but I think my fundemental problem is that my feet are too weak.

That’s why I have now gotten these Vibram Five Finger shoes.. and so far they are the most comfy “shoes” I have worn. Don’t get me wrong though, walking on asphalt is hard work and I am taking it slow. After the first day of wearing them however I woke up the next day with no stiffness in my heel – something that I’ve had for a month now.

We’ll see how it goes!

Cold, fever & smiles

Day 1
Oliver has got a cold and fever. Hopefully it spiked yesterday and is now in remission.. sure seems that way but it has a tendency to come back at night (they mostly come at night..mostly:) *

Day 2
Nope, rose to 39.9C second day :/ After waking up for the third time crying and being warm I let him sleep in my bed in just his diapers (I sleep upstairs and take care of him, wife sleeps downstairs taking care of Liv). After 1.5-2 hours he was willing to sleep in his own bed again.

Day 3
Still fever. It’s not fun being Oliver. He is sleeping now, I hope for a long time since he slept so poorly last night.

Swedish national day

Oliver spent the start of the day with Linda in the city, eating ice cream and having fun. I was home with Liv who slept most of the time:)

When he came home Linda took out the small plastic pool and we filled it with water. He must have played around there for an hour. My folks also came over and then he played even more.

After that I took him to the store in the stroller (as almost every day when the weather allows for it). as you can see it allowed for it:)

He crashed in bed at around 7.30pm ..

I’m pretty sure my favourite guy in the whole world had a pretty awesome national day ;) So did we!
