D-Link 120 problems

D-Link makes shitty products. Period. I will never again buy a product from D-Link. I’ve just spent 20 minute of my life trying to install the D-link 120 bluetooth USB dongle. What a piece of shit. This is how you do it:
- Unplug your DBT-120
- Uninstall everything that has to do with bluetooth in the control panel / system devices dialog
- Enter your windows directory
- Go to the /inf/ folder, find bth.inf (might be hidden so turn on “show hidden files..” if you haven’t already)
- Rename it to bth.bak
- Reboot & during bootup (just after the reboot), put your DBT-120 back into the USB port
- Windows fill find a device, this time you point the installation wizard to your directory where you have put the latest drivers, ie, this time windows will not try to install a generic bluetooth driver this time..
- Stake sauce! … You’re done.
